This week, the HyNetherlands team hosted the course ‘European Energy Strategy, Trends in Transition’ given by New Energy Business School at our Brussels office.
The 4-day programme gave participants from several companies a look at how the 2015 Paris Agreement is leading to a shift from a fossil-fuel-based energy system to a zero-emission system, based on renewable energies. All the key economic, technological, political and regulatory aspects of this major change were addressed and the group discussed opportunities in relation to new developments around electrification, green gases, smart grids and smart cities, this with a focus on hydrogen.
The HyNetherlands team gave a presentation on ENGIE’s activities in general, our focus on hydrogen and in particular the HyNetherlands project.
