Kick-off student project Firda Drachten

On Monday February 12th, five Installation Engineering students came to the Eems power plant for the kick-off of a joint hydrogen project. During the kick-off, ENGIE colleagues gave an introduction about ENGIE, hydrogen and the youngsters were given a tour of the power plant.

Hydrogen project: demonstration table

The MBO (vocational education) students from Firda (formerly ROC Friese Poort) location Drachten will work on a demonstration table in the coming period. A table that can be used to introduce stakeholders to how hydrogen works and its possible applications. The project starts with a brainstorming session, as a design needs to be worked on first. What should be reflected in the demonstration table? Could an interactive element be included? The students then set to work on making the table.

The project will be completed by the end of May. This means that the students only have a few months to come up with a final product. Besides their own teacher, the students will be supervised by ENGIE technical experts. They will also provide a number of master classes.
