On Saturday 25th of May, Groningen Airport Eelde organized a neighbour day for local residents. Over 6,000 residents
came to Eelde to get a taste of all the activities of the airport.
The location was divided in several themes: tour operators, health & safety, future and some other themes. Since we as ENGIE are working together with Groningen Airport Eelde to look for ways to decarbonize aviation and the airport as a whole, we were invited to be present with a booth. Our newly finished hydrogen demonstration table was a big hit! All the children (and parents) wanted to have a try to hit the
highscore.
It was an accessible way for us to elaborate on our hydrogen activities in the region and to make the children enthusiastic
about working in/with energy.
