OCI is a distributor of nitrogen and methanol products, providing lower carbon fertilizers, fuels, and feedstocks to partners in agriculture, transport and other industries around the world.

OCI sees HyNetherlands as an indispensable stepping stone towards full decarbonization of its 900,000 metric tonnes methanol plant at Chemiepark Delfzijl, the renowned chemical complex at the north of the Netherlands.

EEW Energy from Waste GmbH (EEW) is one of the leading companies in Europe in the field of thermal recovery of household and commercial waste as well as sewage sludge. We consider residual waste, which is currently not recoverable and recyclable , as an important and sustainable source of energy.

EEW sees HyNetherlands as the project that will not only ensure circularity by utilizing biogenic CO₂ from non recyclable waste, but will overall avoid 140 kilotons of CO₂ per year from the end of 2025.
