On Friday April 1st the Techniek Tastbaar event took place at the ENGIE production site in Burgum. This annual event, which brought together nearly 40 technical entrepreneurs from the region, aims to introduce children aged 10 to 16 to as many facets of technology as possible.
Our colleague John Bolt (HyNetherlands team) showed the kids how hydrogen is produced. In addition, a malfunctioning game was also set up, where the children could use their technical skills to solve electrical problems.
Techniek Tastbaar aims to encourage children to opt for a technical study orientation, to show them the possibilities of a technical study, and that companies like ENGIE are eager for new talents!
